1.  Membership: The first step in the biowriters.NET process is membership. To access our proprietary questionnaire and become part of our confidential and secure database*, you must first become a member. For just $10.95 per month, you can begin recording the details of your life and start the biography process.

2.  Our Biography Questionnaire:  We’ve developed a thorough and thought-provoking questionnaire that will help you to drift back and remember the details of your life experiences.  This is the starting point of your story.  With nearly 200 questions, the biowriters.NET questionnaire continues to develop with input from our clients and writers. View sample questions. 

Our questionnaire will also generate the first known collection of its kind - a database of first-person accounts of history. This will be the first such online collection that we are aware of at this time. As a client, it is your choice as to whether your file remains CONFIDENTIAL (protected by a password), or is open for review by our members. No one will ever have access to a completed biography online, only the original questionnaire responses.

Please note that you do not HAVE to use the online questionnaire. Simply request a "biowriters.NET binder", which will allow you to answer our questionnaire via phone, e-mail, in writing, or in-person. Whichever method is most comfortable to you is available to you through biowriters.NET.

2a.  Media Uploads:  Our proprietary biography software allows for the uploading of photography, video, music, or any other digital media.

3.  Choose a Package:  You choose how you’d like your biography to be published  whenever you’re ready.   Be a member and reminisce for a few years, or choose right away and have it completed in a couple of months!  The choice is yours:  Online biography, Outline biography, Chapter biography, or our Premium biography.

4.  Interview(s):  Once you've completed the questionnaire to your satisfaction, simply purchase your desired package (if you haven't already done so) and one of our biowriters.NET authors will review your file and contact you in order to schedule a private interview. This interview will allow our author to fill in details and clarify events in your story.

Interview timing and length vary, depending on your responses and your package choice.  Interviews can be conducted in-person, via phone, or e-mail. Top

5.  Draft/Publishing Process:  Upon completion of your initial interview(s) with your biowriters.NET writer, an initial draft of your biography will be prepared.  It will contain all elements - text, photos, music, and all additional writing done by your writer. You will receive this draft as a PDF or printed document. The first draft will typically reach you within three weeks of completing your interview(s).

Review the document, make corrections as needed, and return it to us. We will make your corrections, and then send you a "final draft" for your signature authorizing us to publish it. Once we receive your authorization, we will send the book to be bound and stamped. Once we receive your authorization, you can expect your book within six weeks.
